Sevenoaks School's results in 2024 truly boggle the mind: a 39.6-points-average in the IB, nine points above the world average, 8 pupils with 45 points (out of 45!), 61% of pupils with above 40 points and 20% of leavers going off to study in Oxford and Cambridge Universities. WOW!
Needless to say, the school is very selective, so good grades are key for application.
Not a full boarding school. About 40% of all pupils board with heavy 6th form bias where 70% of pupils board. About 40% of boarders are international students from over 150 countries, making Sevenoaks one of the most international schools in the UK.
The boarding houses are mostly modern, but vary in quality from stunning Johnson House to more basic yet cozy International Center for boys and International House for girls. Pupils share rooms with one other.
Weekend activities include cultural and shopping excursions to nearby London (30 mins by train only!). Most pupils get some relaxation in from a busy weekly schedule though!
Exeat weekends exist and are compulsory.

The school offers a truly amazing range of activities. From coding and debating to Middle Eastern Society and sailing, Sevenoaks caters to all interests and tastes.
The performing arts are very strong with amazing concerts and theatre performances staged at the beautiful The Space. Over 750 indivdual music lessons a week!
Oh and sports of course: top for sailing in the country, U14 hockey team in the national finals, U16 netball team in the finals...the list goes on!
And last but not least - Sevenoaks School with over 150 nationalities present, is a truly international community and as such a microcosm of the global world we live in.
The close proximity to London makes Sevenoaks School a popular choice with rich Londoners. It has been known that pupils on occasion flaunt their wealth at school.
School life is intense here. Pupils support each other but competition is intense. Some of our pupils claim to be overwhelmed at times and find it difficult to prioritze.
