Yes, some schools offer these for academic, creative or sporting prowess. Scholarships tend to be between 5% -10% of school fees. Sometimes they can be more generous. They will never be offered for stays shorter than one year, however.

It's amazing to hear frequently how well the youngsters take care of themselves. However, every school has dedicated contacts such as houseparents, tutors, and the pastoral care team. They are there for the pupils around the clock, no matter how big or small the concern may be.
Better than its reputation! Most of the time there are varied buffets with hot dishes, salads, and desserts – and of course vegetarian and allergy-friendly options as well.
Yes, most pupils do. Sometimes the British children go home, but the international ones stay. Many boarding schools offer a great weekend programme, and lots of pupils love staying at school over the weekend. Some schools have free weekends (“exeats”), when pupils can go home or travel.
We believe so, yes. But it needs to be the right kind of school that both has a high quality standard, lots of boarders - and of course, is right for your child. A boarding school stay can foster independence, create new friendships, afford excellent education, and is an incredibly formative experience for life.

The earlier, the better. But ideally, you should start 24-36 months beforehand for a Y9 entry and 12 to 18 months beforehand for a Y11 and Y12 entry. But last-minute applications are sometimes possible too.
