The school has seven boarding houses, all of them in decent shape, yet with potential for improvement. The houseparents we met at our last visit reassured us that necessary changes were being made.
King's College Taunton has Saturday school, so weekends are short. Access to Taunton town helps fill the Sundays with shopping and other amenities easily accessible.

King's College Taunton has great sports on offer. Football and hockey, for boys and girls, are both excellent. The new equestrian center is a big draw also. Further sports on offer are cricket (in the summer), tennis, swimming, golf, climbing and athletics among others.
The school's creative offer is very strong, with excellent, new arts- and music departments and a well-equipped design and technology department.
We love the school's location. The county Somerset is beautiful and has lots to offer for those interested in the great outdoors, including stunning beaches. With the school's location in Taunton, pupils have access to a safe, friendly town in their off-time.
King's College Taunton has a wonderfully warm atmosphere and is very welcoming. Pupils feel at home here from day one!
As mentioned above, the boarding facilities could be a little nicer. The school is working on this.
