Worth is a beautiful school in a beautiful setting. We know few schools with similarly attractive grounds. The location close to central London and the airports Gatwick and Heathrow make Worth especially attractive to international families.
Thanks to its Catholic roots, Worth School is well known for effectively imparting strong values around collective responsiblity, kindness and honesty - and heaven knows, we could do with young adults with these values right now.
Worth School has very strong music, drama and art departments. About 50% of pupils learn instruments. The school has several excellent choirs, a good orchestra and an active and competitive modern bands circuit. The school's well-equipped theatre sees at least three major productions a year. The new arts department is beautiful and, judging from our last visit in January, produces some real talent!
Worth School has a strong sports offering with special strengths in cricket, boys and girls football, golf, hockey and tennis.
The close proximity to London makes Worth School a popular choice with wealthy Londoners. It has been known that pupils on occasion flaunt their wealth at school.
