Exeat weekends exist, but are not compulsory.
So, let's start with the golf - Loretto is one of THE golf schools in Europe. The best and most promising flock Loretto's famed Golf Academy with state-of-the-art facilities including indoor center with video analysis and Trackman.
Sports in general is very good here, especially lacrosse, rugby, hockey and tennis. Other sports include swimming, judo, football and dance (new dance studio!).
Lots of great extracurricular activities! We especially love the Borealis Society where 6th formers go on extensive sporting and academic expeditions to northern countries like Iceland and Greenland. The experience is uniquely educational and bonding for those who go.
The school has a refreshingly down-to-earth atmosphere, great pastoral care and very caring teachers. Also, due to the relatively small size of the school, a real family vibe exists where everyone knows everyone.
We cannot fault Loretto School. The school does exactly what it says it does!
