The school offers GCSEs and A-Levels.
Christ's Hospital School achieves consistently excellent academic results. In 2024, its GCSE results yielded almost 66% 9-7 grades, its A-Levels 35% A-grades.
Languages on offer are Latin, French, German, Spanish and Mandarin. The SEN provision is strong, especially for dyslexia and dyspraxia, ADHD and ASD.
95% of pupils board, so Christ's Hospital is very close to a full boarding school.
Boarding accomodation is decent, even if some rooms are a little on the small side. Pupils from Y11 on can expect single rooms. On weekends nearby Horsham is accessible to senior pupils.
Exeat weekends exist, but are not compulsory.
Christ's Hospital School is a very charitable school. Thanks to a large endowment fund only 1/3 of pupils pay the full fee, 1/3 pay 50% and 1/3 don't pay a fee at all. This generosity allows pupils from all socio-economic backgrounds to join, making for a truly diverse student community.
Sports is a forte. Stand-outs are football (both boys and girls!), rugby and cricket.
With over 100 activities - from programming to public speaking - CH has a huge array of extracurricular activities for pupils to get their teeth into.
Christ's Hospital School has only 70 day pupils. Being nearly full boarding creates a very close-knit school community where everyone knows and supports each other.
Drama and music are very strong also. Several school productions a year in the school's own 500-seater theatre. Bands, orchestras, ensembles, choirs...music galore!
The school-uniform discourages many pupils from applying. Once they are at the school though, they quickly learn to appreciate it.
