Worksop College, is set in a beautiful 300 acre estate on the edge of Sherwood Forest. It is a stunning school with a definitve Harry-Potter-factor. With its friendly atmosphere and broad extracurricular programme, it is a firm favourite of our pupils past and present.

The Academics:

The school offers GCSEs and A-Levels.

Worksop College achieves consistently decent academic results. In 2024, almost 40% of its GCSE results were 9-7 grades and 36% of its A-Levels A grades. Given that the school is non-selective, these are very solid results.

German, Spanish, French and Latin are on offer.

Boarding:

40% of pupils board. About 30% of boarders are international students.

Worksop has eight boarding houses, all built and renovated to a very high quality standard.

Worksop has exeat weekends, but pupils are welcome to stay.

Strengths:

We know Worksop College as an extremely friendly, down-to-earth school with amazing pastoral care. Anyone looking for a warm welcome and the chance to hit the ground running would be well advised to consider this school!

Worksop College's range of extracurricular activities is amazing. Next to a good sports offer including competitive hockey, rugby and cricket, the school offers golf, horseback-riding and swimming to name just a few. Beyond sports there is anything from cookery classes to trampolining on offer. No one will be bored at Worksop!
