Canford School is innovative. From its own radio station via its own general studies programme 'Connections' to 'Yellow Hour', an informal performance of staff and students where anything from self-written short stories to songs can be performed.
The arts and music are very good, too!
Sports is huge here with the main sports being hockey, rugby, tennis, athletics and rowing. Other options include swimming, sailing, dance badminton, golf, basketball and canoeing.
The compulsory exeat weekends mean that pupils have to leave the school for those weekends, which can be a logistical challenge.
