The school offers GCSEs and A-Levels. The school's intake is broad and has very good exam results considering. In 2024 Bloxham School was able to post 50% 9-7 grades at GCSE and 40% A-grades at A-Level. The school is known for excellent SEN provision with special focus on dyslexia and dyscalculia. A strong tutorial system supports pupils both academically and pastorally.
Languages on offer are German, Spanish, French and Latin.

All pupils get single rooms from Y10 onwards. With university town Oxford around the corner, pupils have more than enough opportunity to enjoy cultural riches and shopping opportunities on the week-ends.
Exeat weekends exist but are not compulsory.
Bloxham School has a very strong sports offering with rugby, hockey and equestrian especially noteworthy. A broad range of sports including swimming (own 23m pool), sailing and clay pidgeon shooting are on offer.
Music and drama both of a very strong calibre here. The Sam Kahn Music School is a hive or creativity with a new orchestra and recording studio. Eight full drama productions a year keep the thespians busy.
Bloxham School has a refreshingly down-to-earth atmosphere compared to schools closer to London, or even some of its more immediate neighbours.
With only 5% international pupils currently Bloxham is a truly English school!
Bloxham School could have a few more boarders for our taste. However, the school makes an amazing effort to bring day and boarding boys together - whenever, whereever.
Single rooms are a bit of a mixed bag. Some pupils love the privacy, some miss the cameraderie that shared rooms foster. We prefer sharing also.
