Worksop College delivers solid exam results year after year. In 2024, for example, almost 40% of GCSEs were graded 9–7, and 36% of A levels came in at grade A.

The Boarding
The school has eight boarding houses, all in excellent condition. Sixth Formers in the Upper Sixth enjoy their own beautiful boarding house, complete with single rooms and en-suite bathrooms.

We know Worksop College as an exceptionally friendly, down-to-earth school with outstanding pastoral care – pupils are genuinely well looked after here. They receive excellent academic and emotional support, so if you’re looking for a school that welcomes students with open arms, Worksop is a perfect fit.
The co-curricular programme at Worksop is truly impressive. Sport is a major strength, with hockey, cricket and rugby leading the way, while golf, swimming, tennis and riding are also popular and well supported. Beyond sport, pupils can choose from an incredible 150 activities – everything from cookery to trampolining is on offer.
Weaknesses

Just an hour from the cities of Sheffield, Nottingham and Lincoln, Worksop College still enjoys a peaceful countryside setting. The charming market town of Worksop is only a few minutes away and offers everything needed for day-to-day life.
